toe surgery

Hammer, mallet, retracted. curly or long toes can be corrected by shortening one of the three bones in the toe or fusing one of the joints. Sometimes additional soft tissue balancing of the tendons or repair of the plantar plate (the tissue underneath the toe joint) is required. This is intricate surgery, which Claire undertakes with careful preparation and techniques.
